题目：Input-Output Analysis of Emissions Embodied in Trade and Carbon Footprint – From Single-region to Multi-region Analysis

摘要：Energy-related CO2 emissions embodied in international trade have been widely studied by researchers using the environmental input-output analysis framework. The embodiment estimates help to explain the “carbon leakage” between industrial and developing countries and to reveal the so-called “consumption-based” emissions (or carbon footprint). These findings have implications on national climate policy and international negotiations. This talk gives a general overview of the methodological issues in embodied emission studies from single-region to multi-regional analysis.
